Yggdrasil launches latest ReelPlay video slot; Money Mariachi Infinity Reels™
Yggdrasil has kicked off the New Year by launching the latest title from YG Masters partner ReelPlay, Money Mariachi Infinity Reels, which “marks another milestone” in its relationship with the Sydney-based online slots specialist.
This high volatility video slot is inspired by Día de los Muertos, the popular Mexican ‘Day of the Dead’ holiday, where families welcome back the souls of relatives who have passed on. Winning combinations are formed by landing five or more matching symbols, starting from the first reel on the left side. The game’s low to mid-range value symbols include a bouquet of flowers, some sort of glowing object, a sombrero, a pair of maracas, a headstone, and various colored candles. A trumpet playing skeleton, a senorita, a violin playing skeleton and a skeleton playing a guitar comprise the high pays, while a guitar wild substitutes for all pay symbols.
Players will find the wildly popular Infinity Reels mechanic within the base game’s 3×4 reel grid, where, for every win it adds another reel, respin and increasing multiplier.
If in a single spin at least 12 reels are added, players will receive a bonus prize of 888x their stake. This can happen during regular spins and LevelUp respins. Triggering the latter happens when three Shrine symbols land, with players hoping to land skull symbols in order to reach the next level.
During LevelUp Respins, players are assisted in their quest for riches via individual modifiers, with each instrument strengthening the Shrines when more souls are added into them. Respins are frozen in place via the Trumpet, the Guitar grows, the Beautiful Hymm charms and the Violin boosts prizes.
